School & District Terms

Version 1.2 · Effective September 7, 2026 (v1.1 was effective earlier the same day; v1.0 was effective August 2 – September 7, 2026)

When a school or district buys PD That Works — seats for a cohort, a monthly subscription, an annual prepaid plan, or a professional-development kit — the purchase is governed by a signed agreement between the school and PD That Works LLC, not by the website terms alone.

What the agreement covers

  • Order form — the specific service, number of seats, cohort, term, and fees. An annual prepaid term does not auto-renew: each renewal is a newly approved order. A monthly subscription is a recurring charge that continues until the school cancels it.
  • The teacher privacy floor — the school's commitment that it will not seek access to Private Teacher Content, pressure teachers for their credentials or private exports, or retaliate, and the data roles described in our Privacy Notice.
  • Data Processing Addendum (DPA) — how we handle personal data on the school's behalf, including student-data protections and FERPA terms where they apply, and a prohibition on selling data, advertising, or training AI models on it.
  • No consequential-employment use — private content and AI outputs may not be used for discipline, evaluation, promotion, compensation, or termination decisions.
  • Security and incident notice — reasonable safeguards and prompt notice of qualifying security incidents.

How to get the documents

To request the current order form, service agreement, and data-processing addendum — or to send us your district's required addendum for review — contact hello@pdthatworks.com.

Until a school agreement is signed, use of the website and any individual accounts is governed by our Terms of Service and Privacy Notice.
